The official highlights video from the Night Time Economy Summit 2026 (NTES26) is now available to watch.
Hosted at Blackstock Market in Liverpool, this year’s Summit brought together operators, artists, venue owners, local authorities, MPs and senior policymakers from across the UK and beyond. It was the largest gathering of night time economy leaders in Europe and a clear sign that our sector is organising, aligning and being heard.
Across two days, the discussions were frank.
Venues are closing at an alarming rate. Rising rents, energy costs, VAT and business rates continue to squeeze operators on every side. Many businesses are working harder than ever simply to stand still.
At the same time, there is a growing recognition that the night time economy is not a luxury. It is fundamental to how our towns and cities function. It drives footfall, sustains jobs, builds culture and gives people a reason to come together.
One of the most important shifts at NTES26 was the level of political engagement in the room. Industry and government were not talking past each other. They were talking together. That matters.
